Goethals Memorial School marked Children’s Day on November 14th with a blend of heartfelt recognition and lively entertainment. The day began with the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony, celebrating student achievements in academics, discipline, and personal growth, including awards for General Proficiency and special honours for discipline and improvement.
A tribute to the late Mrs. Tutu Bhattacharjee, a beloved Bengali teacher, added a poignant touch to the celebration, honouring her lasting impact on the school.
The festivities continued with an entertaining program by the staff, featuring vibrant dances, soulful musical performances, and a humorous play titled Mind Your Language, all of which delighted the students. Teachers like Mrs. Sheetal, Mr. Sudhir, and Ms. Supriya showcased their talents, while a duet by Mr. Nikhil and Mrs. Suman Gurung stood out as a crowd favourite.
