This week, the students of Class 5 conducted a meaningful and thought-provoking morning assembly on the theme “Be a Buddy, Not a Bully.” The programme aimed to spread awareness about the harmful effects of bullying while promoting the values of kindness, friendship, and mutual respect.
To bring the theme to life, the students presented a short skit that left a strong impact on the audience. Their performance highlighted how bullying causes hurt and damage, and how each of us can contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and joyful school environment by choosing to be a buddy instead of a bully.
During the assembly, the school also took a moment to honour Mr. Abhishek and Mr. Priyanshu, our interns, who were warmly thanked by the Principal for successfully completing their 45-day internship at Goethals.
The programme concluded with a powerful reminder: every child has the right to feel safe in school, and together we can build a culture of care, respect, and friendship by standing united against bullying.
