Description:
This year’s Science Exhibition at Goethals Memorial School was a vibrant celebration of imagination, inquiry, and innovation. Held alongside the Fitzpatrick Cup festivities, the exhibition brought together budding scientists from across classes, each eager to explore and explain the world around them.
Projects That Made Us Think:
From environmental awareness to biological intricacies, students tackled a wide range of themes with impressive clarity and creativity. Some standout exhibits included:
• A working water filter crafted from natural materials — blending sustainability with science.
• A detailed plant cell model, complete with labels and explanations that made biology come alive.
• A forestation awareness display, reminding us of our duty to protect nature.
• A presentation on health and hygiene, promoting everyday practices for a healthier life.
Learning Beyond the Classroom:
Judges assessed each project on innovation, topic understanding, and presentation clarity — but the real reward was the learning journey. Students applied textbook concepts to real-world models, collaborated with peers, and built confidence through public speaking.
The Science Exhibition 2025 wasn’t just an event — it was a launchpad for future thinkers, problem-solvers, and changemakers. Here's to nurturing minds that question, create, and care.
