Description: The Edmund Rice Just Together workshop was held on August 22nd at Goethals Memorial School with 3 participating schools and 12 students and 4 teachers from our neighbouring schools, namely St. Helen's Convent, Carmel High School, and St. Alphonsus H.S. School, apart from 8 students from G.M.S. The day included a workshop on LAUDATO SI and SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES by the four animators, Mr. Abhishek Chamling, Mr. Jiwan Pradhan, Ms. Supriya Rai, and Mrs. Nisha Bhusal. A session on Organic Gardening and compost making was facilitated by Mr. Sudhir Bhitrikoty, our O.G. teacher. This was followed by skill workshops on Advocacy through Music, Poetry, Craft and using Excel sheets by the four animators. The teams are now working on their projects. The highlights included sharing their learning, active and enthusiastic participation from all students, and compost making. Here are some glimpses:
